2 Being a Yielded Vessel

Pearl Ministry > My Blog > 2 Being a Yielded Vessel

As I continue to share about yielding to God it’s very apparent that we all have a life long process. We must give up our pleasure our daily leisure of food for a period of time to kill this flesh. Colossians 3:5 says Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

2 Corinthians 13:5 says Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

When we examine ourselves we must begin to put things away. Proverbs 4:24 says Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Isaiah 1:16 says Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Ephesians 4:31 says Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

These scriptures I’m leaving with you they will help you to see what we all must do on a regular basis to Yield ourselves to God.

Go and look up and read them in variety of version for a greater understanding of that scripture. Yielding is a process in which we all can master on a daily basis. We must live in a yielded lifestyle.
